Before your visit for a holiday family photography session, you'll share a few little details about your children—what they love, what they're excited about, and what makes them uniquely them. I’ll pass those details along to Santa before your family arrives for the private Santa experience, giving him a chance to prepare for your visit. So when your children meet Santa, he isn't meeting them for the first time; he already knows a bit about them, making for memorable Santa photos near Boston.

A Visit, Not a Photo Line

Santa will have time to talk with your children, hear their stories, answer their questions, share some cookies, and simply spend a little time with them.

I'll be there to quietly guide the photographs while allowing the natural moments between your children and Santa to unfold.

Some children will run straight to him. Some may need a little time. Some will have a very important list of questions to ask.

There's no right way to meet Santa. We simply let your child's personality lead the way.

Beautiful Photographs to Remember It

While the experience comes first, you'll leave with beautiful photographs that preserve the moments you shared with Santa.
Your session includes 5 high-resolution digital images of your choice, selected from an online gallery of approximately 30–40 fully edited images.
Additional images and beautifully printed products are also available if you'd like to turn your favorites into something you can hold, display, and enjoy for years to come.

Signature Santa Sessions are intentionally small and personal. A few guidelines help us keep the experience relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable for every family.

Get in Touch

Private Sessions — No Personal Photography

Each appointment is reserved for one family. To protect the privacy of your family and keep the experience focused on the children and Santa, personal photography and video are not permitted during the session.

Let the Kids Be Kids

Children don't have to perform for the camera—or even sit with Santa right away. We'll follow their lead and allow the visit to unfold naturally.

Your session includes up to five people. If your family has more than five, please contact me before booking so we can discuss options.

Pets

Please Arrive 10-15 Minutes Early

Please arrive early enough to ensure that everyone is ready for your scheduled time, especially during the busy holiday season when holiday family photography sessions are in high demand. Since sessions are booked back-to-back, late arrivals cannot be accommodated beyond your scheduled appointment time for the private Santa experience.

Additionally, please allow extra time for parking, as holiday parking can be particularly hectic on Black Friday. You may need extra time to find a space and walk to the studio, where you can catch Santa photos near Boston. I'll provide parking information and helpful tips before your session.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you know you're going to be late for your holiday family photography session or private Santa experience, please contact me as soon as possible. I'll do my best to accommodate you, but the session will still need to end at its scheduled time, especially if you're looking forward to Santa photos near Boston.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Payment in full is required at the time of booking your holiday family photography session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. If I'm able to fill your cancelled appointment, your $325 session fee will be refunded in full. However, if I cannot fill the appointment, your session fee may be transferred as a credit toward another available session or a private Santa experience. Since these Santa photos near Boston are in high demand, cancellations and rescheduling are subject to availability.

What ages are best for Signature Santa?

Signature Santa is designed for children who believe in, or simply enjoy, the magic of Christmas and Santa.

What if my child is nervous about Santa?

That's completely okay. Some children need a little time to warm up. There is no expectation that your child immediately sit with Santa or smile for the camera. We'll let the interaction develop naturally.

What if my child won't sit with Santa?

We won't force it. Santa can talk with them, read with them, stand nearby, or simply give them some space. Some of the most meaningful images happen when children interact with Santa in their own way.

Can adults be included in the photographs?

Absolutely. This is a family experience, and adults are welcome to be part of the photographs.

Can grandparents or other family members join us?

Your session includes up to five people. If you'd like to include more than five, please contact me before booking so we can discuss the possibilities.

Can I take photographs or video during our session?

To keep the experience private and allow me to fully focus on your family, personal photography and video are not permitted during the session. You'll receive professional photographs from your visit in your online gallery.

Do you offer sensory-friendly Santa photos?

I want every child to have the opportunity to enjoy their visit with Santa. If your child is sensitive to sounds, scents, or busy environments, please let me know when booking: sensory-friendly Santa sessions are something I'm glad to arrange.

The first session of the day can be reserved for families who would benefit from a quieter environment. For those sessions, we can keep music off and avoid the Christmas scents used later in the day. Your family is also welcome to arrive a little early and wait in the studio's waiting area rather than outside.

Please let me know about any specific needs ahead of time so I can do my best to make your child's visit comfortable. Sensory-friendly Santa sessions are something I'm always glad to arrange.

What should we wear?

You'll receive access to the Signature Santa Wardrobe Guide with ideas for creating a coordinated, timeless Christmas look.

When will we receive our photographs?

Your edited images will be presented in an online gallery within a week after your session. You'll choose your five included images, with additional images, holiday cards and printed products available separately. Print products ordered promptly will be available for Christmas giving and enjoyment, subject to product availability and holiday production times.

Can we bring a pet?

Please contact me before booking if you'd like to include a pet. I'll be happy to discuss whether we can safely accommodate them in the studio.

What happens if we're late?

Please contact me as soon as possible if you're running late. Because sessions are scheduled back-to-back, I won't be able to extend your session beyond your scheduled appointment time.

Is this a mini session?

Not in the way you might expect. Mall mini sessions are quick and often run back-to-back. Signature Santa Sessions are private: one family at a time, with a full 15 minutes, in a quiet setting where your children can take their time. It's a true Christmas experience, and the photographs are what you take home from it.

Where are Signature Santa sessions held?

In my brand new Norwood studio, at the Winsmith Mill, welcoming families from Westwood, Dedham, Walpole, Medfield, Canton, Sharon, Needham, and the Greater Boston area.
